Help The help section provides information on technical issues and also ideas on how to best use the STARScience Portal.
Most of the resources found on this site are aimed at secondary level chemistry and physics. The site also contains generic resources such as advice (how to evaluate web resources), and links to web sites that provide science or teaching information. The resources are categorised by subject, then topic and closely follow the UK's National Curriculum for science (chemistry and physics) at Key Stage 4. Read/Write Reviews
Every resource in the Chemistry and Physics section has a facility for practitioners to submit a review on a particular resource and also rate the resource according to how useful a practitioner found a particular resource. Reviews that have already been submitted can also be read by clicking on the 'read a review'.
The details you write in a review is there to help other practitioners gain ideas on how best to use a particular resource. Practitioners are encouraged to write a review even if a resource already has a review, as it can display the variety of ways resources are used. Submit a resource If you know of a very useful resource which has not been added to the STARScience web site but you would like to see it there, you can use the 'submit a link' option (found on the left hand navigation menu) to add your resource.
Don't know where you are? Can't find what you want? Just under the top navigation menu there is a footprint on every page, of the site, that shows you where you are and where you came from. You can click on the blue links to step back. Alternatively, if you cannot find where something is, you can always click on 'Sitemap' (found on the top navigation menu) and this will display every section within the site.
